Vashara Chamal to greener pastures

Last October the straight Egyptian Arabian stallion Vashara Chamal (Chalil x Assilah by Mahomed) passed away.

straight Egyptian Arabian stallion, blue list, hadban enzahi

I bought Vashara Chamal when visiting his breeder to see his sire Chalil (Kaisoon x Om El Arab). Vashara Chamal stood an impressive 1m62 tall and made quite an impression. As usual I was not looking to buy a stallion but his breeder made a proposal that I just couldn't refuse.

Vashara Chamal was twice classwinner at the national championships in Belgium, was licensed with 2nd premium and raced a season. He was a grandson of both Kaisoon and Mahomed, according to his breeder he was almost a look-alike of his grandfather Mahomed. His full-brother Vashara Chasal was a succesful sire of endurance horses in France.

He sired us Zahir and Kadir, both out of the Madkour-I daughter Salome XI and was later sold to Germany. Zahir was sold to an endurance stable in France and was later in the Al Afsaa Endurance Stable of Sheikh Al Maktoum. Kadir sired Jammal (out of El-Jahrousse) before being sold as riding-horse.
